Story:
An interesting tale, the story begins with a fraudster Sameer Khanna (Masshoor) who walks his way up in life by conning people and duping them. His path leads him to Singapore where he meets up with the famous Gary Rosario (Jackie) who is a very powerful racketeer of night clubs. Sameer starts working for Gary but as luck would have it, he ends up in an emergency and is on the need for some huge money. He approaches Gary only to get turned down. With no other choice, he makes his own plan and kidnaps Esha (Vishakha) as she happens to be the darling daughter of the wealthy and successful film star Gyaneshwar Singh (Shehzaad). However, emotions take control of the situation and Sameer starts falling in love with Esha and even she starts feeling the same for him. He takes her to Sentosa to have a good time with her but not for long since Gyaneshwar has got in touch with Gary who happens to be the god father of Esha to locate her. Gary assigns the task to Sameer who is the kidnapper himself, meanwhile during the course, Sameer and Esha also get into tangles with local dons Pran Panwara (Kiran Kumar) and Dabar (Mukesh Rishi). What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director can be given one pat on the back for coming up with a twisted tale, however though the presentation was good, the narration lost out badly especially in the second half. The camera was average despite foreign locations, the editing was numb, the music was just about okay with two numbers that can be hummed for a while. The script was alright but it could have been a lot better with a tighter screenplay. There is an overdose of comedy which kind of diluted the momentum. Mashhoor who is making his debut has come out with a good performance and has ably handled the director's role too. Vishakha was simple and sweet and showed a lot of promise. Jackie was stylish and flamboyant but had a limited role. It was nice to see some of the old baddies like Kiran Kumar, Prem Chopra but the best among them was the good old Mac Mohan who has not shown any signs of old age. Shehzaad Khan was annoying. The others did their job with ease.

Conclusion:
The film which starts off as a hardcore action thriller actually is more of a comedy and romantic entertainer and this could have been conveyed in a lot better way if the director worked on the screenplay. While the first half was racy with the required elements of twists and romance, it is the second half where things have gone wrong badly. The take on past Bollywood flicks and some unwanted comedy messed up the plot big time and the film got into a dragging mode leaving the audience confused. The film might find it hard to run through success since there is no publicity whatsoever for the film, perhaps a word of mouth campaign will help it achieve some pass marks which it deserves.

24Rocking Verdict : Just about watchable, if nothing better to do.
