Arshad Warsi and Akshaye Khanna are all set to con you in their upcoming film, Shortkut: The Con Is On. The film also stars Amrita Rao, looking very glamorous and distinctly different from her earlier simplistic look.
Shortkut tells the story of two strugglers, who want to make it big in the film industry. Arshad's character Raju becomes a superstar after stealing Shekhar's script. So Shekhar, played by Akshaye, has no choice but to continue his struggles.
Things get interesting when top actress Mansi's (Amrita Rao) romance with Shekhar ends in marriage, just around the time when her professional interaction with Raju begins.
This will be Akshaye's second film in Anil Kapoor's production. Their first film together, Gandhi My Father, won rave reviews for its brilliant content and performances.
Shortkut is directed by Neeraj Vora, who has written fun scripts like Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Bhagam Bhaag, Golmaal: Fun Unlimited and Hungama, and directed films like Phir Hera Pheri.
