Story: A twisted love tale, the story is about Jai Vardhan Singh (saif) who has a relationship with Meera Pandit (deepika) in the backdrop of the beautiful London city. However, they don't call it love since there are no strings attached. A time comes when Meera decides to return to India and since they don't believe in long distance relationships, they call it off. Meanwhile, Jai comes across Veer Singh (rishi) who recalls his youthful days and his romance with Harleen. Being the practical guy, Jai finds it hard to believe the love story of Veer but then as time passes, Meera finds another man and life moves on. But little do both Meera and Jai know that they are in love with each other but has time taken over them? Will their love story succeed? All this forms the rest of the story. Presentation: The director has come up with a zig zag love story but then it was his narration that stole the show, the presentation also was perfect. The dialogues were neat, the script was excellent, the screenplay was mesmerizing. Music and background score made its presence felt strongly and three songs were worth taking home. Cinematography captured the visuals in a good way. Editing was neat and crisp. Costumes were trendy and art department did a fabulous job. Saif Ali Khan carried off his two roles in a good way and did justice. Deepika was dazzling as usual and she has an ease in front of the camera. Rishi Kapoor was elegant, the girl doing the role of Harleen was pretty and expressed her words through her eyes most of the time, Neetu was brief but bright, Rahul was suave, the others did their bit to contribute to the movie. Conclusion: The film happens to run on two tracks and it must be said that the screenplay was efficient to handle such a thing. While the first half goes on a lighter mode with the regular romance and fun, it is the second half that strikes a chord with the heart. Though the film will appeal only to a certain section of audience, it is the perception and understanding of love that is depicted in a rather sensible manner. There is also something for today's generation to learn from it. The film may not be a blockbuster but it will surely be a decent runner with profits at the box office. Sit back and enjoy this tender tale of romance. FunKruti Verdict: Different love story, slow but neat, enjoy it!!!
